Anuj Saraswat is the Business Head – Financial Services & Inclusion at Hitachi Payment Services. Anuj has more than two decades of banking experience spanning across emerging payments, cards, digital banking and distribution businesses. With the core competency of setting up businesses from scratch, Anuj has successfully built and managed business operations at Citibank, RBL Bank, Reliance Money, EbixCash, and India Post Payments Bank.

In his most recent banking stint, Anuj was associated with India Post Payments Bank as its Chief Product Officer and Head of Strategic Alliances. At IPPB, Anuj played the lead role in setting up the bank and building its product and services suite. With portfolio expansion and strategic partnerships during his tenure, IPPB witnessed a 40X jump in revenues with a run rate upwards of INR 700 crore, 70 million account holders and the highest deposit base amongst its peers. Prior to IPPB, Anuj was associated with RBL Bank, where he set up the Digital Banking (BaaS) unit for fintech and start-up collaborations, building the Partners Ka Bank identity for RBL. His other assignments include those at ICICI and IDBI Bank in the early part of his career.

Anuj had also co-founded Getbit Inc., an instant cross-border remittances company leveraging the Bitcoin Lightning network, which he transitioned to his other co-founders before joining Hitachi Payments.
